Our goal is to offer one of the best range facilities in the entire Northwest and hold world class competitions
When was HCSA Founded?
The Hellgate Civilian Shooters Association, (HCSA), was incorporated in May, 1938. The original range location, in West Riverside, is still in use today. It all started that year with 4 shooting bays out to 100 yards and expanded from there. An indoor Small Bore shooting was added in the early 50s which is still used for Small Bore position matches, Bulls eye pistol, Schuetzen Rifle and indoor winter postal matches.
In the early 80s the Deep Creek range began construction. A public 200 yard range and shotgun range adorn the west end of the property. At the same time on the east end the member only ranges began with the 500m silhouette range, 200 yard range and the 1000 yard range. Later a Small bore 100m silhouette range, 100 yard range, Cowboy action range and 50 yard pistol bays where added. This allows us to hold world class matches at our beautiful Deep Creek Range facility.
