Cowboy Action

The Hellgate Vigilantes are inviting you to put away those plastic glocks, oil up that American made iron,
and join us for the rootin-est, tootin-est hootenanny in the Territory.

What will be taking place in the Cowboy Action matches?

On the first Saturday of the month, we’ll be shooting five stages in this 4-gun event, with two single action revolvers, a pistol cartridge lever rifle, and a shotgun.  Guns are pre-1900 vintage or replicas.  Ammunition is lightly loaded cast lead.  And, of course, spurs and cowboy hats will make you shoot better.

Registration and entry information.

Registration is at 9:00 am, and rounds go down range after a short safety meeting.  Entry fees are $20 per shooter, with the usual discounts for families and Vigilante members.  Call or email ahead, because sometimes we have special matches with different start times.

The Vigilantes will provide training, and a note to take home explaining your new firearms purchases.  See you at the range!
